Simply put, we bring in new clients to Dawn and connect them with different kind of Boosters. We only accept gold, on both Factions and and all language-regions, but we mainly do operations on EU servers as of now.
Most of our sales come from the in-game Trade Chat. You are free to advertise on any Realm or Faction as well as any other medium you can think of such as Discord, friends, Guild mates etc, as long as you maintain our high standards. We expect perfect English grammar when talking to buyers/in all public channels as this directly reflects on the Community. Be professional, polite and friendly at all times possible!
Once you've reached certain sales requirements, you will also have access to #booking-requests which is where buyers come to us through the Discord server.
Your job is to find a client, agree upon a price, set up the run (or book it in advance), collect the gold (or a deposit), and follow up with the buyer afterwards and send the gold in. This will all be explained below, don't worry.
Always try to get the buyer to join our Discord. Remember also that we have rewards for bringing new boosters to Dawn!
The most up to date offerings will always be in #pve-pricelist-eu, #pvp-pricelist, #legacy-pricelist, #pve-deals and #other-deals. We also use #flash-deals to advertise short-term offerings, such as reduced prices or special events. We are constantly reviewing the list of services but feel free to reach out to us if you have ideas of any price changes!
Within Dawn there are a few common abbreviations we use. We'll go over them in this section but a few terms you will see being used are TC, BR and PCR! They stand for the following things;
TC: Trade Chat (For Clients from Trade Chat, other Discords, DM's, etc.)
BR: Booking Request (For Clients from the Booking Requests channel on the Dawn Discord.)
PCR: Post Completed Run (This is the attendance and has to be done after each successful boost, apart from Raids/Curves.)
This is what we classify as all the sales made in game, usually in the Trade Chat (Services), or even random messages in Discord. Buying any of our services yourself, or even selling to friends/Guild members also counts as TC sales. These sales generally have bigger ad-cuts. Making TC sales will also add to your total TC sales made, which can allow you to rank up. We will go over the rank up process later on in this guide.
Within Dawn discord there is a channel called #booking-request-ads. Once you've become an Elite Advertiser and we've confirmed that you know all the different sections and how to book for them, you will get our Booking Request-role which means you will get a ping every time a client requests a service through Discord. You can then react to the ticket (BR) of that client by clicking the green box with a checkmark to opt in that you want to help that specific client. If you are assigned to that client, a new channel will open up (A ticket channel) and you need to help that client to the best of your abilities.
Our current Ad-Cuts are always listed and updated in this channel; #cuts-payments-faq. If there's any cut that you recieve that doesn't match what's written there, please contact me, Hojzti.
Most of Dawn's services can be discounted to match prices seen in trade chat and other communities. However, you should generally stick to the default prices, and keep the discounts reasonable: do not drop the price of a boost by 10% just because you see a single person advertising with very low prices. You can always DM a member of |Adv| staff to ask about such cases, or to discuss bulk discounts. Keep in mind however that mythic raids and PvP boosts cannot be discounted; boosters are in high demand and sales will almost definitely not be successful if their booster cut is reduced.
Mythic+ and levelling boosts are an exception, and you are allowed to discount them freely and advertise publicly with any price you see fit. Just keep in mind that if you randomly decide to drop prices ridiculously low, you may have a hard time finding boosters for your runs.
Trainee Advertiser and Senior Advertiser rules regarding gold collection
If you're a Trainee Advertiser, you are not allowed to hold gold during a boost. Depending on the type of service, you will have two options.
Raids: If the client insists on paying fully to you, then mark the booking as fully collected by you. Immediately after that, send a message to the Gold Collector of the raid to have them pick up the gold for the booking. If the GC does not respond within 15 minutes or is unavailable, head to #advertisers and open a "Gold Pick-up" ticket to get it collected.
Any other service: Collect the payment fully, and then head to #advertisers and open a Gold Pick-up ticket to get it collected. You might've already gotten a DM from a Staff member by this point, then you don't have to open a ticket but rather hand the gold over to them.
Note: For non-raid boosts, the GC is paid 2% of the Ad-cut for their help and responsibility.
Note: Senior Advertisers are allowed to post M+ and levelling boosts freely, but must trade fully collected raid pots to the GC of the raid in question. Otherwise, the GC may refuse to take your client.
When setting up a boost, you can always choose to either collect the advertiser cut yourself, or to add it to your Dawn balance. Dawn pays out balances once every day. The minimum payout is 200k gold, and as soon as you've accumulated that, your gold will be mailed to your payment character ingame. If you haven't received your gold when expected, please head to the support channels and open a Balance ticket. In the section below are more examples of such tickets.

Advertiser Support: If you need any help with a wrongly posted PCR, or a sheet error, missing string, etc.
Report an Advertiser: If Boosters failed a boost or if you think an Advertiser made an error, fill out these tickets and Staff will review it.
Check your Ad-sales: To check how much you've sold for Dawn.
Gold Pick-up: To get un-verified gold picked up by verified collectors.
To be able to mail gold in, you need the add-on found in the #DawnTools channel!
After any boost is completed, it's time to mail the gold in to Dawn so that we can distribute the gold to the Boosters. When you've posted the attendance in the Discord, or once a Raid is completed, you can find your gold string either in your DM's from DawnBot, or on the website if you click the mail icon.
You then head to the nearest mailbox and select "Send Mail". You paste the string into the empty field, and press "Send", and then confirm the mail again once three seconds have passed. Now you're done and can let go of said boost!
Remember that you have three days to mail in gold after a boost has been completed.
You can find the website to book in buyers for Normal Raids/Heroic Raids/Curves here:
https://hub.dawn-boosting.com/home
1. Create your Blizzard account and purchase a subscription. Do not create all advertising accounts on same Battlenet. Because if you do get silenced on one the entire Bnet will be silenced for that time. When you are creating mails for your new Bnet accounts, make sure to use different names, and different passwords. This is crucial to avoid bans.
2. Choose the Realm you want to advertise on;
You can aim for the High Pop realms but you will see how the chat is like matrix - people spamming their macro every 15 sec. You should either stack 4-5 accounts in those High Pop realms or just go for Low Pops realms and change realms if you can't find clients.
3. When creating a new character, it is important to choose a proper nickname so that you won't get reported frequently, buyers can /w you when'ever they want easily. (Don't use special characters, etc.)
4. Prefer classes with colors that can be easily noticed (Shaman/Mage/Monk/Death Knight, etc.)
5. If possible, pick an Allied Race so you don't have to run from the starting zone to Orgrimmar, but if you don't have it un-locked then pick a Panda Death Knight and do the ~1 minute quest line in Icecrown Citadel to get teleported to your Factions capital city.
6. Now you've created the character and you're in the capital city, ready to create your macro for advertising.
7. Never use a macro without an achievement or a boss/raid link. Colorful texts sell better!
8. You'll be using the "Macro Toolkit" add-on to remove character limit for your macros. (You still won't be able to link 50+ achievements though, sorry.)
Add-on: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/macro-toolkit
9. Check the channel number for 'Trade Chat (Services)' for your realm, and make sure that you **never** post in the Newcomer Chat. This will get you silenced very fast!
10. Take the achievement(s) from the chat. (If you're the only one on your realm - ask a friend or invite yourself and link it to the Party chat.)
11. After linking the achievement(s), delete unnecessary text from the macro then click the 'Toolkit' button.
12. In the toolkit interface, find your macro, click "Extend" then add the Trade Chat (Services) channel tag, customize your macro, (offering > WTS, colorful text > plain text.), no unnecessary caps.
13. Check the Trade Chat (Services) chat from time to time. If you see your nickname twice, increase the interval between your macros, and if the chat is flowing rapidly, decrease it.
14. Good luck and just ask and Ad Manager or Ad Trainer if you need help!
